Lauren Makk (born August 4, 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American television personality and style expert. Lauren was a designer on HGTV's “Trading Spaces” (2007-2008), and one of four co-hosts on FabLife (2015-2016).

Career

Answered a Craigslist ad in 2005 when she was designing for a lead model home merchandising firm in Los Angeles, which let to her auditioning and eventually landing a designers spot on HGTV's “Trading Spaces” 2007-2008 at the age of 22.

In 2010, Lauren appeared on the A&E show Drill Team, which lasted for a year.

Her most recognizable stint came as one of four co-hosts on FabLife (2015-2016). On Fab Life, Lauren revealed that she had always been a chubby girl growing up, so she went to Texas when she was 18 and had Gastric Bypass surgery, eventually losing 140 pounds.[2]

In 2021 was a judge on HGTV's "Design Star: Next Gen".[3]
