Cynthia Myers (born September 12, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, USA) is an American adult model and actress, and Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for December 1968. Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar. She has been called the most famous Playmate of the 1960's, and remains one of the most famous Playmates of all time. In Playboy's Top Ten Centerfolds of the Century she ranked #10.
Career
After her Playboy Magazine debut, Cynthia made frequent appearances on the Playboy After Dark TV series in 1969.
Myers also appeared in a handful of movies. She made an uncredited appearance in They Shoot Horses, Don't They? before taking the leading role of the sensitive lesbian rock and roll singer and bass player Casey Anderson in Russ Meyer's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. She followed this with a supporting role in the Western, Molly and Lawless John (1972).
During her time in Hollywood, she dated several actors including Burt Lancaster, Michael Blodgett and Bob Fuller before retiring from motion pictures to concentrate on her education and her personal life.
Later years
In 1994, Cynthia made a number of appearances at autograph shows. During the late 1990's, she also briefly returned to school, taking classes in theater arts at Antelope Valley College.
Cynthia currently resides in southern California with her husband, whom she met on a fishing trip to Lake Mead, Nevada in 1981, and their son, Robert. She continues to model, runs a website featuring her work, and will appear in a feature film, Please Sign it Love.
