Sameena Ali-Khan (born 30 December 1967) is a British journalist, newsreader, television presenter and occasional model.
Ali-Khan is currently employed by ITV Central as a main presenter for ITV News Central
Ali-khan has won three RTS Midlands Best Screen Personality Awards in 2010, 2014 and 2015, for her work on ITV News Central
Broadcasting career
After completion of her Masters degree Ali-Khan relocated to Birmingham in 2000 and hosted Drive on the BBC Asian Network and Radio 5 Live. Ali-Khan joined ITV Central in 2005.
Ali-Khan was previously a presenter of the East edition of Central Tonight, before she left to go on maternity leave in mid-2008. She returned on 2 February 2009, co-presenting the West Midlands edition of the programme before it was merged with the East Midlands edition a fortnight later.
Ali-Khan has also presented the ITV News during 2006.

Modeling
With no previous experience at modeling, and at the age of 45, Ali-Khan had her first real photo-shoot with Midlands based Pukaar Magazine. Ali-Khan was featured as the January 2013 cover star, with an accompanying interview and photo-shoot. Ali-Khan said at the time, “Although I’ve been in front of a television camera presenting for years, actually posing for the still camera was quite alien to me, but I really enjoyed the experience
It wasn’t until 2017, and approaching 50, that Ali-Khan took the unusual move for a newsreader, to try raunchier photo-shoots. “I love challenges, trying something out my comfort zone, and unexpected is something I’ve always been about. I wanted to show a 50 year old woman, should not need to slink back into the shadows, and with some photo ideas of a racier nature, decided, hey let’s do this”.
Ali-Khan then produced a series of high quality online lingerie and glamour shoots, highlighting her hourglass figure and curvaceous curves. The online shoots featured Ali-Khan semi-nude in various outfits, stripping down to her bra, knickers, suspenders and heels. Ali-Khan “It really wasn’t what anyone expected me to do, and wasn’t ever something I thought I’d try, but the shoots give me such an adrenalin buzz, it’s a really fun sensation undressing for the camera”.
