Gabrielle Drake (born March 30, 1944, in Lahore, Pakistan) is a British actress.
Career
Trained in the discipline of acting at RADA, Gabrielle Drake made her first appearance on screen in 1966, beginning a career that has spanned 5 decades and has included appearances in many of the UK's most famous television series such as The Avengers, The Professionals, The New Avengers and a recurring role in the soap Crossroads as well as a prolific output in film. Blessed with an innocent face, huge eyes and tiny pout, she is best remembered for her role as Lt Gay Ellis in the cult Gerry Anderson paranoid sci-fi series 'UFO' (for which she was required to don a bacofoil outfit and purple wig) and for the fact that her brother was the doomed hippy troubadour Nick Drake. There are still a few blurry pictures from her early 70s British sex comedies Suburban Wives (1971), Commuter Husbands (1972) and Au Pair Girls (1972) to testify to her outstanding physique.
