Wendi McLendon-Covey (born Wendy Anne McLendon October 10, 1969, in Bellflower, California, US) is an American comedian and actress.

Wendi attended California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies/Creative Writing.

Career

In Character as Deputy Clementine Johnson

Wendi is best known for her roles as Deputy Clementine Johnson on the Comedy Central television program Reno 911!, a role which awarded her #10 on Maxim magazine's TV's Best Nymphos list, and as Beverly Goldberg on ABC's The Goldbergs. She is a member of The Groundlings and starred in the Lifetime show Lovespring International, which premiered in 2006 and cancelled later that year. She subsequently reprised the role of Clementine Johnson in the theatrical release Reno 911!: Miami.

Personal life

Wendi has been married since 1996 to Greg Covey. They live in Long Beach, California, and own three cats.
