:thefreedictionary.com/black Please, read part of article with capital B. Black American = African-American, both words start from capitals. :) —[[User:Nonduc|nonduc]] 14:41, 28 February 2015 (EST) | :thefreedictionary.com/black Please, read part of article with capital B. That's actually correct -- [[Special:UnusedFiles]] is for files that aren't being actively used in articles; it doesn't matter if they're categorized or not. Since many of our images are non-free/fair use, we don't want to keep unused ones around, because that's technically a copyright violation. Explain your reversions please? Teddy 04:46, 28 February 2015 (EST)
- Look at http://www.boobpedia.com/boobs/Category:Lists_of_performers_by_professions — "amazons" must be spelled with small "a" at start for proper listing. Capitals reserved only for Nationalities and Ethnities. —nonduc 04:55, 28 February 2015 (EST)
- I don't really understand what you mean by "proper listing", but article titles need proper capitalisation, regardless of how it affects listings. The word "Amazon" is capitalised, as its derived from the name of a place. Teddy 05:03, 28 February 2015 (EST)
- Nope. "Amazon" with "A" is only for river or region (they are proper nouns); for "amazons" i.e. "girls" must be used "a" (it’s common noun). —nonduc 05:10, 28 February 2015 (EST)
- Why are you capitalising ethnicities? How are these proper nouns? Amazonian refers to a place so needs a capital, in the same way Asian needs a capital. You shouldn't be making these changes if you can't speak fluent English. Teddy 09:29, 28 February 2015 (EST)
- Please, take it in your view: when your writing is on Amazons as legendary tribe, you'll use capital A, it's for nation, if you write just on tall women you'll use amazons, because it's just height, not nation. And sorry, I'm not an inventor of English grammar rules. :) —nonduc 10:06, 28 February 2015 (EST)
