Nandana Sen (born August 19, 1967 in Calcutta) is an Indian actress.

Background

Nandana Sen is the daughter of Nobel Laureate economist Amartya Sen and Padma Shri Nabanita Dev Sen, one of the most prominent authors in contemporary Bengali literature. She grew up in various cities across Europe, India and America.

Career

Sen started her career with the movie "The Doll". Nandana's first apperance in bollywood movies was as Rani Mukherji's 17 year old sister in the movie Black. In 2008 she appeared in the British television series Sharpe, in the episode Sharpe's Peril. In 2014, she starred in " Rang Rasia", which is regarded one of her boldest film.

Personal life

She has dated producer Madhu Mantena. She was married to Horst Yorgan Rutstch.
