Janet Pilgrim (born Charlaine Edith Karalus on June 13, 1934 in Wheaton, Illinois) is an American model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy's Playmate of the Month three times: July 1955, December 1955 and October 1956.
Pilgrim worked in Playboy's subscription department and was talked into posing nude by Hugh Hefner. She posed for a few hundred dollars (today the fee is $25,000 USD).
Trivia
- She is one of only two Playmates (the other being Marilyn Waltz) to be a three-time Playboy centerfold.
- She ranked #83 in Playboy's Sex Stars of the Century.
- She is known as the original girl next door to pose in Playboy.
