Domonique Simone (born Deidre Morrow in Valdosta, Georgia on June 18, 1971) is an African-American porn star. Though she was originally billed as "Dominique," in actuality, her chosen stage named was spelled, "Domonique." She moved to Los Angeles from Georgia and attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, where one of her fellow students was Alexis Arquette. She answered an ad for figure modeling, and soon found herself shooting for magazines like Hustler and Players.
One noteworthy mark of her career is the extensive amount of augmentation and plastic surgery done on her. Her nose, breasts, cheeks, and face have all seen drastic changes under a surgeon's knife since her debut in adult films.
She is noted for being one of the top starlets in the business starring in more than 200 movies during the 1990s. Her most recent film/video appearances were in My Baby Got Back 21 (2000) and Booty Talk 17 (2000). She has also appeared in the music videos of such artists as Snoop Dogg, Montell Jordan, and Brian McKnight. As of 2005, she resides in Sherman Oaks outside Los Angeles, California where she, although retired from making movies, is still working in adult entertainment.
Simone was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2007. She is the fourth African-American woman to be inducted. The other three were Jeannie Pepper (1997), Heather Hunter (2003) and Janet Jacme (2006).
