November 2007 server move
Boobpedia was moved from the old server to a new dual Xeon server in November 2007 to improve stability and performance. The process was not smooth, as the database on the old server was found to be corrupt. Instead of a normal database dump, the move had to be performed piece by piece.
The following items were preserved:
- All pages
- All images
The following item was lost:
- User accounts
- The contribution history for less than 10 pages
You will need to register as an editor again. Please register under the same user name, and you will get your contributions back. If you'd like to have your user page and user talk page restored, please leave Hexvoodoo a note and it will be done for you. By the way, if you are one of the users displaying a large number of images on your user page, please consider toning it down. Thank you.
