Natalia Martínez Streignard is a Venezuelan actress, born September 9, 1970 in Madrid, Spain.
Her mother is Argentine and her father is German. When she was 3, the whole family emigrated to Venezuela.
Before becoming an actress, Streignard was a contestant in the Miss Venezuela pageant, where she was finalist. Her acting career started shortly after (in 1992), with starring and supporting roles in several Venezuelan telenovelas.
Some of her most remembered productions are Pedacito de cielo (Marte TV, 1993), Sol de tentación (Venevisión, 1996), Mi destino eres tú (Televisa, 2000), Mi Gorda Bella (RCTV, 2002), ¡Anita, no te rajes! (RTI, Telemundo, 2004), and La Tormenta (RTI, Telemundo, 2005-2006). She is scheduled to be the main heroine in Telemundo's " El Juramento" slated to start late in May 2008. And scheduled to be the main heroine in Telefe's ״ Dulce Ilusiones ״ slated to start late in August 2008.
Streignard met Cuban actor Mario Cimarro on the set of ¨La mujer de mi vida¨ in 1998. Later in the same year the got married. After being separated, they reconciled. In 2006, Streignard and Cimarro once again separated. In late 2006 they announced their divorce. Now Natalia is pregnant from Christian Meier.
