Harrison Marks (born George Harris Marks on August 6, 1926, died June 27, 1997)[1] was a British glamour and pin-up photographer. Marks founded the Kamera group of magazines with his then partner Pamela Green in 1957. He also made a number of 8mm loop films and 5 feature films.

Kamera
In 1957, Kamera the 7 x 5 inch, 36 page, monthly pocketbook, was started with the help of Pamela Green.[2] The photographs in Kamera were retouched, where necessary, to disguise any sign of pubic hair or genitals, to try and avoid the danger of falling foul of the British obscenity law. Kamera No.1 was sold out the first 5 week after it's release. Six weeks after No.1, Kamera No.2 was released and sold a quarter of a million copies. Where it was decided to make Kamera a monthly publication.[3] By the time No.5 came around, both George and Pamela were convinced to create other material with the Kamera name.
