Monica Anna Maria Bellucci (born September 30, 1964 in Città di Castello, Umbria, Italy) is an Italian actress, fashion and glamour model. She is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, even having passed her 50th birthday.
Career
Bellucci originally pursued a career in the legal profession, but began modeling while attending the University of Perugia. In 1988, she joined Elite Model Management and in 1990, made her acting debut on TV. Most of her films are Italian. She played Persephone in the Matrix trilogy.
She has not been shy about appearing nude in films. One scene in Malèna (2000), where a young male actor strips Monica Bellucci's character, Malena, completely naked in a fantasy sequence, was cut from the U.S. release, but is uncut in the original release.
She became the oldest 'Bond Girl' at the age of 51, surpassing Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore in Goldfringer) when she appeared as 'Lucia Sciarra' in Spectre (2015) who played James Bond's love interest.
She married Vincent Cassel in 1999 and divorced in August 2013. She has two daughters, Deva and Leonie`.
