Akira Takatsuki (高槻 彰 - Takatsuki Akira) is a Japanese AV director who specializes in the big-bust genre, which he pioneered in Japan.
Career
Takatsuki began directing for Nikkatsu studio during the last days of their Roman Porno series. He rose to prominence in the Japanese big-bust field in 1994 as the director of VCA's D-Cup label The Bomber Girl series. In 2004 he started the Cinema Unit GAS studio. A May 2008 "20th anniversary" celebration for GAS indicates that he had been working in the big-bust field before the Bomber Girl series.[1] According to IMDB, in 2003 Takatsuki appeared along with sometime GAS director, Demo Tanaka, in the cast of the film A Larva to Love (Koi-suru yôchû).[2] The Cinema Unit Gas company began releasing big-bust DVDs in 2004, and continue making prominent big-bust discoveries and DVD releases to this day.
Takatsuki kept an online filming Diary which he stopped updating in 2006, and in 2004 he started a blog, which is still maintained.
