Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
Professional wrestling career
Finochio worked with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, as well as many other promotions on the independent circuit. Finochio was first paired with Kid Kash, after the two feuded, as a valet and occasionally tag team partner. She was used as an equilizer for the likes of Desire, Mickie James, and Traci Brooks. After Kash departed for the WWE, Finochio formed "The New York Connection" (The NYC) with Glenn Gilberti, Vito Lograsso, and Johnny Swinger. Trinity defeated Desire on the June 23rd Pay-Per-View in a stretcher match with assistance from Logarsso. At the '04 Victory Road, Finochio downed Jacqueline Moore, previously of WWE fame, in an open challenge. After the group disbanded, Finochio entered into an angle with Brooks and TNA's Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes, over the position of Rhodes' personal assistant. Brooks eventually won the job after her team The Disciples of Destruction defeated Trinity's Phi Delta Slam at the '05 Destination X. Trinity then became the manager of Michael Shane, and again feuded with Brooks, as she had become the manager of Chris Sabin. The two ladies were the only on-screen female talent at the time. At the '05 Lockdown pay-per-view, Finochio executed a Moonsault from the top of a cage onto several compeititors during an Xscape match. At Hard Justice, Trinity and Shane defeated Brooks and Sabin after Brooks turned on Sabin and Shane turned on Trinity. Finochio then left the promotion. Rumors then began to circulate that Finochio was coming to the WWE.
Debut and independent circuit (2002–2005)

World Wrestling Entertainment
After completing her training, Finochio made her professional wrestling debut on October 10, 2002 without using her surname, where she lost to Phoenix. On October 13, Finochio, now using the ring name Trinity, defeated Simply Luscious to win her first professional wrestling match. On October 26, Finochio made her Chikara debut under the ring name Stephanie Starr, where she lost to Mercedes Martinez. On November 1, Trinity lost to Luscious in a rematch. On January 17, 2003, Trinity wrestled against NWA Canadian Women's Champion Bam Bam Bambi for the title, but was defeated.
OVW
Finochio was receiving try-out matches with World Wrestling Entertainment in Ohio Valley Wrestling. She debuted November 9, 2005 at an OVW show in Louisville, Kentucky. In December 2005, she appeared at Ring Of Glory's Great Commission in Rome, Georgia, along with newcomer Rain (who wrestles in Northern IMPACT Wrestling and the SHIMMER women's promotion).  She appeared in the WWE with fellow female wrestler Talia at the Heat tapings on January 2, 2006. On January 12, 2006, Stephanie signed a developmental contract with WWE. Some time after signing with WWE and before debuting in OVW, she got breast implants. At the March 18, 2006 OVW TV Tapings, Trinity served as a special referee for the Beth Phoenix vs Shelly Martinez match. After the match between Beth and Shelly, Trinity started arguing with Beth. At the April 1, 2006 OVW TV Tapings, Trinity defeated Sosay via submission, and after the match Beth came down and attacked her. Trinity lost a match to Beth Phoenix and was written out of OVW storylines for some time.

ECW
On September 13, Trinity defeated April Hunter to win the vacant CSWF Women's Championship. Trinity made her first title defense on February 21, 2004 against Ariel, where she was successful in retaining the title. On August 28, 2004, Trinity lost the title to Hunter in a four-way match also involving Ariel and Tracy Brooks, ending her reign at 350 days.
Trinity would later go on to join the revived ECW brand on June 13, 2006 where she debuted as the manager for the Full Blooded Italians (this would earn her the nickname "Full-Bodied Italian").

Trinity suffered a minor knee injury during an ECW house show. She participated in a Vixen's Bikini Contest with contestants Kelly Kelly and ECW veteran Francine. She executed a moonsault to the outside of the ring and missed the two competitors. She had surgery to fix the injury and was told she will be out until mid August to early September. She returned to ECW television on the September 19, 2006 edition of ECW on Sci-Fi when she appeared backstage greeting Queen Sharmell. On October 31, 2006 edition of ECW on Sci-Fi, Trinity won the 1st ever ECW Diva Halloween Costume Contest beating Kelly Kelly and Ariel. Trinity's costume was simply a piece of caution tape covering her breasts.
On May 13, 2005, Trinity competed at the Queens of Chaos' debut event, where she competed in a battle royal to determine the promotion's inaugural World Championship, which was ultimately won by Nikita.

Throughout November and December, she would appear on ECW TV to manage the F.B.I. in tag team matches. In January 2007, F.B.I. member Tony Mamaluke was released from WWE along with several others.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2003-2005-2013)
On January 29, Finochio made her Total Nonstop Action Wrestling debut as Trinity, where she and Kid Kash defeated Desire and Sonny Siaki in a mixed tag team match. Trinity then defeated Desire in a singles match on February 5 before later defeating ODB on February 26.  On March 19, Trinity became the first woman in TNA history to compete for one of the promotion's male championships, as she wrestled against Kid Kash and Amazing Red in a three-way match for Kash's X Division Championship, but was unable to win the title. In June, Trinity turned into a villain by choking out Goldylocks backstage, and would solidify her heel turn by aligning with Vince Russo the following week. In April 2004, Finochio formed the New York Connection (NYC) alongside Glenn Gilbertti, Vito LoGrasso, and Johnny Swinger. The NYC had their first match together on April 28, where Trinity, Gilbertti, and Swinger lost to Desire, Pat Kenney, and Sonny Siaki before losing a rematch on June 3 in a dark match before the inaugural episode of Impact!. Trinity then began feuding with Desire, and proceeded to defeat her in a stretcher match on June 23 and then again in a mixed tag team match on July 7 to end the feud. At the inaugural Victory Road pay-per-view on November 7, 2004, Trinity defeated Jacqueline Moore in an open challenge.

Trinity was released from her WWE contract on June 22, 2007.
After the NYC disbanded, Trinity entered into an angle with Tracy Brooks and TNA's Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes over the position of Rhodes' personal assistant. Brooks eventually won the job after her team of The Disciples of Destruction defeated Trinity's team, Phi Delta Slam, at the inaugural Destination X pay-per-view on March 13, 2005. Trinity then became the manager of Michael Shane and resumed her feud with Brooks, who became the manager of Chris Sabin. At the inaugural Hard Justice pay-per-view, Trinity and Shane were defeated by Brooks and Sabin after Brooks turned on Sabin and Shane turned on Trinity.

Finochio started receiving try-out matches with World Wrestling Entertainment in Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2005. She debuted November 9 at a show in Louisville, Kentucky. She appeared in the WWE with fellow female wrestler Talia at the Heat tapings on January 2, 2006. The two were spotted on WWE Kiss Cam with The Heart Throbs. Ten days later, Stephanie signed a developmental contract with WWE. At the March 18, 2006 OVW TV tapings, Trinity served as special referee for the Beth Phoenix vs Shelly Martinez match. After the match, Trinity started arguing with Beth. On April 1, Trinity defeated Sosay via submission, and was immediately attacked by Phoenix following the conclusion of the bout. That idea was nixed and Jordan was released.

ECW (2006-2007)

Trinity would later go on to join the revived ECW brand on June 13, 2006 where she debuted as the manager for the Full Blooded Italians (this would earn her the nickname "The Full-Bodied Italian").

Trinity suffered a minor knee injury during an ECW house show. She participated in a Bikini Contest with contestants Kelly Kelly and ECW veteran Francine. After a three-way catfight broke out, Trinity executed her Fall From Grace finisher to the outside of the ring and missed the two competitors. Days later, she underwent surgery to repair her knee and was told she will be out of action for six to eight weeks.[1] She returned to ECW television on the September 19, 2006 edition of ECW on Sci Fi when she appeared backstage greeting Queen Sharmell. On October 31, 2006 edition of ECW on Sci Fi, Trinity won the first ever ECW Diva Halloween Costume Contest, beating Kelly Kelly and Ariel.
