Karin Katherine Taylor (born November 28, 1971 in Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican former international fashion model[1] and nude model, chosen by Playboy as their Playmate of the Month for June 1996.[2]
After her appearance in Playboy, Taylor moved to Los Angeles and began an acting career that included a guest-starring appearance on Baywatch as Taylor Johnson,[3] as well as roles and appearances on: Malcolm and Eddie, Weird Al Show, Keenen Ivory Wayans Show,[4] |Horace Brown's music video,[5] "Things We Do for Love"[2] (Brett Ratner, director) and guest hosting on E!.
Growing up in Orlando, Taylor was the quintessential "girl next door" who attended a private Catholic school and was "an altar server the first year the Pope declared girls could serve".[6] Karin also worked as a lifeguard at Wet n Wild before entering the "entertainment industry" as a dancer for Walt Disney World in their Electric Light Parade (1989–1990)[7]
