Donna D'Errico (born March 30, 1968) is an American actress and nude model. She was chosen Playboy Playmate of the Month for September 1995. She was 27 years old when she became a Playmate. Her centerfold was photographed by Richard Fegley.[1]

Career

Before appearing in Playboy, D'Errico had a Las Vegas based limousine company.[3] She is Playboy Playmate of the Month for September 1995. Her centerfold was photographed by Richard Fegley.[1]

D'Errico had a starring role on the television series Baywatch. She was also a host of the show Battlebots and starred in Candyman: Day of the Dead. For a time, D'Errico owned Zen Spa, a day spa in Calabasas, California.[4][5] Since leaving Baywatch, she has been in numerous independent films such as Intervention, Inconceivable, and The Making of Plus One.

Personal life

D'Errico was born in Dothan, Alabama and spent her childhood in Columbus, Georgia. She is a 1986 graduate of Pacelli High School in Columbus.

D'Errico was married to Nikki Sixx, the bassist from the American rock band Mötley Crüe. The song "Rocketship" on Mötley Crüe's seventh album Generation Swine is dedicated to D'Errico. Performed by Nikki Sixx, he reportedly wrote the song about the first time he ever told D'Errico that he loved her. Together they have one daughter, Frankie-Jean Sixx, although collectively they have raised their five children together. She is step-mom to Gunner Sixx, Storm Sixx and Decker Sixx, her husbands children from his previous marriage to playmate, Brandi Brandt.

D'Errico divorced rock musician Nikki Sixx in 2007, after nine years of marriage.[6] They had separated shortly after their daughter Mary's birth, and reconciled months later when Sixx completed rehab. They separated again on April 27, 2006, and divorced June 2007, with D'Errico claiming irreconcilable differences.[6][7] At the time of the divorce, Frankie-Jean was 5 years old, and D'Errico's son Rhyan, from a previous marriage, was 13 years old.

She is now a devout Roman Catholic, attends mass weekly and prays the Rosary every night with her children.[8] When asked how her newfound faith relates to her past, she said, "I’ve made mistakes and choices in my past that I wouldn’t make today. That's a chapter in my life that I’ve closed the door on. It's like that's another person. It's not who I am today."[8]

In 2011, Donna D'Errico stated that she was in training to fulfill a long-held dream of climbing Mount Ararat in Turkey in search of the frozen remains of Noah's ark. In the same interview she had also said that she is preparing to start a cooking show, also a lifelong dream.[9] D'Errico climbed Mount Ararat in the summer of 2012, returning home to the U.S. in August. Although she completed what she had set out to do, she was injured and bruised after suffering from a "major fall" that occurred towards the end of her hike.[10]
