Cataño has acted in numerous television program. She has co-starred in Latin soap operas, such as Belinda, Secreto de Amor, Morelia, MariElena, Amor Latino and Cadena Braga. She has also been in American films and TV shows, such as Bad Boys, Holy Man, Miami Sands, and the ABC series Moon Over Miami.
Outside of television, she has been featured on the covers and in featured articles in magazines and newspapers, such as FHM, Selecta, Ocean Drive, People, Cosmopolitan, HOLA, Open Your Eyes, TV y Novelas, TV Notas, MIRA, La Opinión, Men's Fitness, El Norte, El Reforma and The Miami Herald. Both of her mini-portals on Univision.com (most popular Hispanic website in the U.S. are a favorite among Hispanics.
Adriana is currently working on the film Nadie Sabe Lo Que Tiene on location in Miami, Florida. She has a featured role and the lead is "Miguelito" the youngest Grammy winner of all time. The film will be released in 2010 in the US, Puerto Rico and all of Latin America. Adriana is the lead actress in the film Macumba also to be released in 2010 in English in the United States. She also starred in the music video "Sola" with reggaeton star Hector El Father. The video was number one on MTV Latino and Mun2 for many months. She has been the spokesperson for Rooms To Go (largest chain of furniture stores in the U.S.) for over 14 years which makes it evident she is loved by Hispanics in the US.
All of her sexy calendars 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 have sold out completely. Adriana is a household name among Hispanics. She is also the "voice" of major companies for radio and television such as Alltel Wireless, Florida Lottery, Smirnoff Vodka, McDonald's's and many others.
