Sandy Cherniss briefly gained national media attention in March of 1960 due to her shapely figure. When she was a coed at San Francisco City College, officials at the school complained that her natural endowments were distracting male students from their studies and she was asked to stop wearing form-fitting sweaters and skirts because of this. After gaining media coverage, she was later hired on as a chorus line girl at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas.[1]
