Beach by beach
Phuket's market follows the coastline, and the beach you pick sets the tone. Patong is the busy party strip around Bangla Road — a mix of short-time and full-overnight bookings at the higher-volume, lower-premium end. Kata and Karon are the mid-tier resort coast, more longer-stay. Bangtao, Surin and Cherngtalay are the premium strip — the Banyan Tree, Sala Phuket and Anantara — a higher-rate, outcall-heavy market. Phuket Town inland is the local scene at the lowest price point. The live Phuket listings show who's on which beach now.
Resort outcall and guest-friendly rooms
On the premium coast, outcall to your resort is the norm, but resort policies vary — some of the five-stars are strict about visitors, so confirm your specific property's stance before arranging an incall to your room. Patong hotels are generally far more relaxed, which is part of why short-time bookings concentrate there.
What you'll pay
Pricing is in baht, cash, though premium profiles often take major currencies too. Short-time of an hour or two runs roughly ฿2,500–฿6,000, outcall to a Patong hotel ฿3,500–฿8,000, and the premium Bangtao and Surin resorts higher again. Agree the number and what's included before you meet.
Booking over LINE
As across Thailand, LINE is the dominant messaging app and most independents list a LINE ID first, with WhatsApp as a fallback. English replies are standard in the tourist areas. Be specific about your beach, your resort and your timing — and about your preferences, since the market openly includes trans providers, so saying clearly what you're after saves confusion.
Staying safe
Never wire a deposit to hold a booking with someone you haven't met. Beyond that, mind your drinks and valuables in the Patong bar zone, and stick to verified profiles with checked photos. For Bangkok, Pattaya or Koh Samui, see the wider Thailand directory.
