Kosovo cities at a glance

• Pristina — the capital and by far the largest market. Concentrated in the centre (around Mother Teresa Boulevard and Dragodan). Mix of independent and agency, EU-priced.
• Prizren — the historic south. Smaller market, mostly independents working from short-term apartments near the old town.
• Peja (Peć) — western Kosovo. Modest but active, agency outcall to the few hotel options.
• Mitrovica — divided north/south. Listings on the southern (Albanian) side; small market.
• Gjakova — small but consistent listings, mostly independent.

Rates in euros (Kosovo uses EUR despite not being in the eurozone). Cash standard. WhatsApp is the dominant booking channel.

Getting around

Pristina International Airport is 20–30 minutes from the city centre; most agencies arrange hotel outcall to the airport hotels (Sirius, Swiss Diamond, Hotel Garden). Travel between cities is by road — Pristina–Prizren is about 90 minutes, Pristina–Peja about 75 minutes.
