Lollipop, pseudonym of Maria Federica Besesti, also known by the stage name Federica Gori (Rome, August 6, 1970 - Rome, February 5, 2008), was an Italian porn star, actress and showgirl.
Biography
Maria Federica was performing as a strip girl in the local capital. It was during a show she met the director Luca Damiano, her future mate. With him she has appeared in several films and in 2000 was part of the cast of "Gladiatori: Reportage sul cinema hard italiano". The film was presented the same year at the Turin Film Festival. After debuting in "The Witch and the Bitch", she renamed the series "Lollipop and her friends" and "The Blue Angel" and a hard soap for the satellite channel Stream.
Lollipop was the daughter of actors and film voice actors, both her father and grandfather. Especially the latter, Mario Besesti, a voice actor, had been very active in Disney animated films.
In 2001 she was much talked about why she had filed a lawsuit with the musical group of Culprits Lollipop, according to Gori, of having stolen the name.
Death
Shrouded in mystery, the death of a porn star: she was found in her home in Olgiata, on the bed, with her legs crossed and her face serene as if she was watching television, while in the room with her were just her four dogs. Luca Damiano, former partner, said that Maria Federica had a recurring thought: she often talked about Marilyn Monroe and how she thought of dying at a young age, and often thought of her father, who died of heart problems when she was a teenager.
Lollipop was the companion of the director, with whom she lived together for almost four years. In her career she had appeared in a few erotic films and was now out of the loop of porn. In the last period of her life, she was going through a good professional moment was testimonial of Fiorentina issuer Conto TV, but mostly she got small parts in a film by Carlo Verdone and 'Whole Life Ahead' by Paolo Virzi. She decided to change her stage name to Federica Gori in 2003 when she met the director Luca Damiano.
