Beth Chapman (born on October 29, 1967 in Denver, Colorado, USA as Alice Elizabeth Smith) is the fifth wife of bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman. Together, they run Da Kine Bailbonds with his sons, Leland Chapman and Duane Lee Chapman II, and with Tim Chapman. She appears on the television show Dog the Bounty Hunter.
In his autobiography You Can Run But You Can't Hide, Duane Chapman says,
- "I first met Beth Smith in 1988, when she was just nineteen years old. I was thirty-five. I've always had a thing for smart women—especially smart women with big tits. The moment I met her, I knew there was a hell of a brain behind those breasts."[1]
Death
On June 23, 2019, Chapman was admitted to Hawaii's Queen's Medical Center's where she was put into a medically-induced coma. She died early morning of June 26, 2019 of throat and lung cancer at the age of 51, after being unconscious for nearly a week. [2]
