It's all in Kentron
Yerevan's market is unusually concentrated: almost all of it sits in Kentron, the historic centre around Republic Square, Northern Avenue and the Opera House. This is where most independents work from short-term apartments and where the main hotels — the Marriott Armenia, The Alexander and the Tufenkian Historic — sit, so incall and hotel outcall are both quick and central. Outside Kentron the listings thin out fast: Arabkir to the north is more agency-led, while Davtashen, Nor Nork and Erebuni run mid-to-lower price points. The live Yerevan listings show current availability.
Hotels and outcall
Because everything is central, outcall to a Kentron hotel is a short hop, handled discreetly and room-direct. Be a registered guest and keep the lobby clear — the usual etiquette.
What you'll pay
Pricing is in Armenian dram, cash, and sits at the affordable end of the region — Yerevan is a low-cost city and the rates reflect it. The live listings carry the current numbers; agree the figure before you meet and settle in person.
Making contact
WhatsApp is the standard channel, with some providers also reachable on Telegram, which is widely used across the post-Soviet space. Keep the first message short and specific; Russian and English both get replies alongside Armenian.
Staying safe
The rule that carries the most weight is the simplest: never send a deposit to hold a booking with someone you haven't met. Stick to verified profiles with checked photos and pay in person. For the rest of the country, see the wider Armenia directory.
