Karen Summer (born July 22, 1962) is an American porn star.
Early life
Summer was raised in Tarzana, CA and the Encino section of Los Angeles.[2]She worked in Hollywood as an extra, photo double, stand-in, and production assistant in the mainstream entertainment industry prior to working in porn.[3][2] She worked on the CBS-TV series The Dukes of Hazzard for three years[3][2] when she was between the ages of 18 and 20.[4] In 2014, Karen returned to the industry after she ran into Nina Hartley, who encouraged her to resume her adult film career.[2] She currently hosts her own show on XXX Porn Star Radio.[3][2]
Personal life
Summer lived in Florida for twenty years during her hiatus from porn.[5] She was married for ten years and got divorced in 2000.[3][2] She was a paralegal and also worked in the health care field.[3][5][2] She moved back to Los Angeles in February 2014.[2]
