Linda O'Neil is an American model and actress.
Biography
Early life
O'Neil was born near Sacramento, California, U.S. on Mather Air Force Base[1]. She is naturally brunette; hence the description on her official website World's Sexiest Brunette. She is 1.70 m or 5' 7" tall[2]. Her family moved several times and lived in Guam as well. Her father was a pilot[1] in the Vietnam War. She is the second of three daughters. Her father is half French and half Irish and met O'Neil's mother in Vietnam. O'Neil divided her time in high-school between athletics and modeling[1].
Career
O'Neil began her modeling career at age fifteen.[1] She has appeared in numerous hotrod and dirtbike calendars and magazines[3] and has become a modern-day pin-up girl. Playboy Special Editions , Playboy videos and Mystique Magazine.
O'Neil has also appeared in television commercials for MCI, Nike, Marriott Resorts[3] , FX Channel, Heineken, Virgin Cola, Mercedes-Benz, Vonage[4] as well as print ads and/or articles for the likes of Sony, Coors Light and Ironman Magazine[5] amongst others.
She gained widespread popularity on the Internet after appearing on Lisa Boyle's website[6] and then on BlueNudes where she appeared in artistic nudes taken by photographer Tom Ruddock[7]. Not long after, she started the official Linda O'Neil website, and her loyal fan base has grown steadily since.
In mid-May 2007 Linda's site stopped being updated and by 18 June 2007 Linda's website became only partially functional with certain (archival) links becoming totally inactive. Linda still maintains her modeling career, but has become increasingly selective about the work she takes on.
O'Neil plays the ditzy blonde who wants to swim with the sharks in the Vonage commercial that began airing in September 2006.
