She was born Karen Susan Hamilton; she used the name "Sue Williams" for her Playboy shoot, later going as Sue Hamilton for her film and television work. She appeared in several Beach Party films, including How to Stuff a Wild Bikini.
As the first Playmate to get breast implants, Williams is an unheralded history maker. At 4' 11", she shared the distinction of being the shortest woman to appear as a Playmate in Playboy (the other was Karla Conway, in April 1966).
