The {{tl|film}} template is a metatemplate that uses the information stored in [[:Category:Film templates|film templates]]. It can use different styles to
* display a film name and additional information [[:Category:Inline templates|inline]],
* display an entry in a filmography,
* display a whole [[infobox]] for the film.
