			She is born in Utrecht on December 16, 1959, and is already involved in theater and theater at school. After the havo in 1976 she is asked for the lead role in the feature film "The Debut", a film by Nouschka van Brakel and with this she wins the Best talent prize from Oxford, and the upcoming talent prize from Egypt, there is also a rose named after her. After this many productions follow (see CV), and in between she is involved in following workshops and courses such as: Stanaslavski, method acting, the education of the drama school, and lessons from the American teacher: George Loros, who has a lot of famous stars has worked such as Al Pacino.

			She works at a casting agency, as a receptionist, doing voice work, radio commercials, taking a writing course, and singing lessons. Her favorite films are "Antonia", directed by Marleen Gorris, in which she plays the gifted girl DeeDee, a beautiful role, this film won an Oscar in America for best foreign film. But also "Vrouwen Vleugel" written by Marjan Berk, in which she plays Julia for 55 episodes, thereby winning the Gouden Televisierring 1995, and of course Het Debuut, Mysteries, An Bloem, and also the comedies, Nobody out the door and Wat pushes, and so on and so forth.

			In recent years, Marina has focused more on teaching, and set up her Act2Act Acting Studio, where she gives camera acting lessons. She also gives acting lessons at schools as a guest teacher, does voice work, and would like to film her own scripts in the future, and enter the theater.
