Jelena Jensen started her career while she was working for Jaded Video while in college as their Product Manager and Marketing Manager. As their Marketing Manager, she was in charge of setting up and doing spokesmodeling for their booths at the various adult conventions, such as the AVN Expo in Vegas and Erotica LA in Los Angeles. Because she was not interested in doing hardcore, a friend suggested that she do solo stills.

Giovanni was born in Los Angeles (to a mostly [[Italian]]-American family). Growing up Aria recounts that she was quite shy, with only one friend in high school, but that she did very well in her classes.
