Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar. She has been called the most famous Playmate of the 1960's, and remains one of the most famous Playmates of all time. In ''Playboy's'' 10 Top Ten Centerfolds of the Century she ranked #10.

After her magazine debut, Cynthia made frequent appearances on ''Playboy After Dark'' TV series in 1969.

Myers also appeared in a handful of movies. She made an uncredited appearance in ''They Shoot Horses, Don't They?'' before taking the leading role of the sensitive lesbian rock and roll singer and bass player Casey Anderson in Russ Meyer's ''Beyond the Valley of the Dolls''. She followed this with a supporting role in the Western, ''Molly and Lawless John'' (1972).
