Wanda Solange Nara (born 1986 in Vicente López, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine glamour model and actress. She's the sister of Zaira Nara.

Life/Career

Nara's original family is of Lebanese descent.[2] Her younger sister is Zaira Nara,[3] also a showgirl, businesswoman, dancer, actress and model: their mother is Nora Colosimo[4] and their father is Andrés Nara.[5]

Wanda has been modelling since she was a toddler, when she began at the tender age of three. According to her, her parents were responsible for her early debut on the catwalk[6]. During her adolescence was transferred to professional parades. She debuted in theatre in the summer of 2005/2006, in the play Humor en Custodia (Humor on Custody), along with Beatriz Salomón, el Pato Galván and Gabriela Mandato. At the end of February 2006 she jumped to fame after rumors of a brief romance with Diego Armando Maradona that she confirmed, although the soccer player denied.[7]

In August 2007, she began to participate in the reality show Patinando por un Sueño (Ice Skating for a Dream).[8]

Nara, in September 2018,[9] replaced Melissa Satta as co-presenter, showgirl and opinionist[10] in Tiki Taka - Il calcio è il nostro gioco, the sports talk show of Mediaset aired in the late night slot and hosted by Pierluigi Pardo.[11] The program was aired in 2018, and also in 2020, on Italia 1,[12] and aired in 2019 on Canale 5.[13] The roles of Nara and Pardo in this program ended on 9 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in the next season (aired from September 2020 on Italia 1) they were replaced by Piero Chiambretti. In early 2020 Nara took part in the 4th season of Grande Fratello VIP (hosted by Alfonso Signorini and aired on Canale 5) as opinionist with Pupo.[14]
