Blue co-hosts a show on Playboy.com called Lex in the City with her former fiancee', porn actor Lexington Steele. She also directs using the pseudonym "Domina X". Her former lover was Kitten Scott, another porn star. Kitten and Vanessa have matching tattoos of the Roman Numeral "II".
