  • I thought I might suggest a web page for connection to this topic. There is a site for anime woman with large breasts called Being Upfront. It hasn't been updated for a while, but it gives anime characters (including pictures) with larger then normal breasts. It orders them alphabetically due to anime title, with a couple of honourable mentions.

On Wikipedia, the list of all pages shows redirects in italics. Is that some feature in MediaWiki that can be turned on here? I've been creating redirects for people's aliases, and it would be helpful. The Honorable 10:13, 3 February 2007 (PST)

If there are any name conflicts (two people named Busty whatever), I plan to make a disambiguation page, a la Wikipedia. I know I've done one for one name, though I can't remember who at the moment.

On Sofia Rose, the left photo seems to float around and sometimes wind up under the other photos, but never goes any higher than the bottom of the biobox. I've been having problems with the free photos overlapping the biobox, but haven't come up with a good solution to that. The Honorable 15:24, 3 February 2007 (PST)

I had just assumed I needed a bigger monitor. :) On the free images, displaying them as single images instead of in pairs in a table seems like it might work better (easier for the images to reflow instead of overlapping). Hi, Hexvoodoo. I'm about sick of the obvious and racist POV-pushing going on in some areas at Wikipedia, and had another run-in with our old friend. He is organizing a retaliatory attack on the Japanese porn category over there. I'm asking myself why I waste time contributing there when it can all be deleted by one prudish bigot. I am thinking of just taking it all down, and sharing it with a site that appreciates honest work in the Japanese porn area. I'll have no problem putting the busty articles here, and continuing work on them, and newer ones. My question is, do you know of a good, similar site where I could share my non-busty Japanese porn work? Count on me coming here to work hard starting tomorrow. Regards. I managed to get to (and delete) "Category:Mac & Bumble models" -- I went though my contributions, and clicked on "hist" or "diff" instead of the direct link. Something to remember if any future articles get created with ampersands in the titles. The Honorable 08:36, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

I think I found the problem. According to this, if a parameter value contains an equal sign, the parameter name has to be explicitly used.

please publish your videos as mpeg, either I or II, or even 4, but not in wmv. i use gnulinux and do not wish to 'juggle' around for these codecs. mpeg is more universally acceptable on all platforms. you may also consider divx. juggmaster publishes their videos in the mpeg format, too.

i considered using mpeg-1 first, but wmv provides much better compression and quality. the difference in file size is substantial, and while mpeg-1 is more accessible, it's also very old technology and not very efficient. wmv is widely used and windows and mac users (over 97% of all computer users) can play it fairly easily. i have thought that linux has software for wmv too, but i could be wrong. divx is even less accessible than mpg or wmv. almost all adult sites use wmv for their trailers, so wmv is pretty much the current standard. --Hexvoodoo 16:15, 11 April 2007 (PDT)

[webvisitor-response]: thanks for the response. i meant mpeg4. it does superb compression, works on win,mac,linux, and start panting: even on mobile phones. it is the new way to go. have to juggle around a lot to get wmv working properly in linux and even then a newer format screws things up again. please check out mpeg4 capability, you'll be surprised how much this is what we need at boobpedia! it just works straight out of the box. you could also take a look at mpeg2 for high-res playback.... look forward to your response. i visit boobpedia atleast thrice a day. the lack of significant changes on the front page over several days is disappointing, especially considering how much activity is happening behind the scenes. how about a box-item: 'Fresh Boobs' that just lists all the new women with big boobs published on boobpedia.this 'fresh boobs' listing could be on top of 'boobpedia news' on the right, pushing all the box-items on the right down.

my apologies about not updating the main page for the last few days. i had several things to take care of in real life, and i'm basically the only one updating the main page (it's locked to prevent vandalism). you are right, there are in fact many updates daily on boobpedia, not all of which are reflected on the main page right away. i am trying to catch up on the backlog whenever i have time. there is a newpage functionality, however it's not linked from the main page because new pages are often not well constructed and formatted, and i think it's better to show new visitors articles that have been cleaned up and constructed properly. i promise to do more main page updates over the next few days to somewhat catch up. --Hexvoodoo 15:21, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

This is a warning - you are using porngraphic links - which is against the law: Child Online Protection Act of 1998 (COPA) COPA makes it a crime for commercial websites to make pornographic material that is "harmful to minors" available to juveniles. first of all, who is "we"? who are you? if you want to make a threat, at least identify yourself.
second of all, which links on the page are "the links" that you speak of? you first deleted several links about a "certain distributer" without giving a clear reason (what distributer, and what is wrong with it?). then you deleted the entire page, including biographical information, filmography, etc, again without giving a clear reason. i reverted the wholesale vandalism, and in the edit notes asked you to contact an admin to clarify things. not only do you not discuss this with an administrator, but you delete the page again, and put up legal text on the Danuta Lato page. (which by the way, is the wrong place to post it, as it has nothing to do with Danuta Lato directly)
lastly, and i hate to bust your threat so easily. the federal courts of the united states have blocked the COPA from taking effect, as it violates the constitutional protection of free speech. i would encourage you to do a little more research before making legal threats.
if you have valid reasons of concern for specific links in the Danuta Lato page, let me know. i have looked at some of the links on the page, and a few of them would not normally be included anyway (such as forum posts). the page will probably be examined when i get to it, but since you have been vandalizing it, the page is now under semi-protection. if you want to change something, give me a valid reason. good day --Hexvoodoo 22:29, 26 April 2007 (PDT)

I am an old DANUTA Fan knowing a lot of her history. She was a well reputed Singer and actress in Europe. Right, she did some explicit shooting as model - but she only did once in her live in one only day a porn shoot what she regrets very much with many tears. if this is your real reason, why did you think it was a good idea to simply vandalize her page giving obviously absurd reasons? and if you appreciate this "wonderful boob site", why did you issue legal threats against the usage of adult links, which are intrinsic to the subject matter of the entirety of boobpedia? what happened to a polite and discrete email to an admin to explain your concerns?

Dear Hex, you are perverting facts! I never vandelized on wikipedia. What I stated was true and right and due to wikipedia regulations. It is not allowed by rules of wikipedia to post links for Spamming, advertising, targeting to pay porn sites, using material not siutable for minors and using copyrighted material what you are doing in your Danuta Lato site. You are using a photo and many links targeted to copyright protected material from the photographer Peter Marchand and other photographers which is a crime and may be punished by international copyright law. You know for sure that there is some illegal action which is against the rules of wikipedia and against the law. two things. one, i have not perverted any facts - it is you who don't seem to understand the rules of wikipedia. and two, you are contradicting yourself. i'll show you why.
1. you have stated that you never vandalized wikipedia, and that you sticked to wikipedia regulations. they are both false. prior to the latest link deletion by you (which i kind of expected), you had already deleted the same links three times, and all of those deletions were reverted by various other wikipedia editors. in fact, one of the editors even wrote this edit note in direct response to one of your deletions, "Wikipedia is not censored, boobpedia is related and has no copyright problems (image may considered fair use)". i suggest that you take a look at this official wikipedia policy wikipedia is not censored and take note of this sentence "some articles may include objectionable text, images, or links if they are relevant to the content (such as the article about pornography)" you however, have seemingly missed that point. even if you still somehow think you've done everything right and proper, do you really think that your actions on boobpedia are not vandalism?
as for your statement "You are using a photo and many links targeted to copyright protected material ... which is a crime and may be punished by international copyright law", it is just as ignorant as your earlier legal threat about COPA. you may want to consult with a copyright lawyer, and ask him about the "fair use" doctrine, which the danuta lato image here is used under. if you have problems with other websites showing pictures of her, talk to their webmasters. it is no excuse for you to delete an entire page here and deface it by posting legal notices.
i certainly never had the goal of trying to destroy her life, as you say, and i certainly don't have any "intention to misrepresent Danuta as a pornstar". the porn star tag was added by someone else, and i never even watched any of her work. if you don't believe she's a porn star (and if she didn't do a boy/girl scene, she's not a porn star by boobpedia standards), then all you had to do was remove the porn star tag and give the reason.
you said that i "know for sure that there is some illegal action which is against the rules of wikipedia and against the law". actually, i know for sure that neither i nor boobpedia has broken any wikipedia rule or the law. you were also told the same thing by other wikipedia editors, repeatedly. judging by your actions and words, you are the one who don't seem to understand WP rules and the law. in fact, your empty legal threats and attempts to mischaracterize boobpedia on another website may actually qualify you for harassment and defamation under the law. you threatend to go to the cops, perhaps you really would benefit from talking to them and getting your facts straight.
2. in your zeal to censor everything about danuta lato, you even contradicted yourself. you threatened boobpedia with the COPA, because you falsely believed that it was a crime to show nudity on the internet without taking a credit card number or similar age verification methods. in your latest wikipedia deletion, you provided this reason "deleted Boobpedia link for selected advertising targeted to porn pay sites, showing explicit material not siutable for minors" (bold is mine). it appears that you aren't really a COPA crusader, as you don't like free sites and you don't like pay sites that require a CC either. you just don't like anything if it deals with danuta.

Discussion is senseless - you are obvious engaged in promoting and/or sales of certain porn pay sites and/or porn goods, trying to do advertising on your site and on wikipedia. i'm sorry, but you are a one trick pony, and your trick is calling things you don't like spam and illegal. nobody is stuffing your inbox with spam, and you can't for the life of you find a single law that's been broken. you keep making the same accusations, yet you have nothing to back you up.
you deleted an entire article because you said it violated the COPA for linking to free sites, now you are crying foul over pay sites. you keep shifting your blame, because frankly, nothing you say is proving to be true. boobpedia's main purpose is not advertising or selling. there are no ads anywhere on the site (even though i've had parties offering money to put ads here), and the danuta lato article had existed since last year with no links to any pay site until you started stirring things up. and by the way, i did not place the boobpedia link in the wikipedia danuta lato article. i'm also not the people reverting your vandalism there. if you think that everyone who disagrees with your is me, you are delusional.

I can assure you the mentioning of this site in Wikipedia was not "invited". What can we do that our beloved Danuta based her career on her natural gifts, and so only such sites as this write about her. Don't you realize her Wikipedia entry was an attempt to bring her in to the mainstream! Yet Wikipedia wants sources and so this site was used because it had more info on her than any other site!

the browse categories does not list 'lesbian' as a category. strange! [webvisitor]

the main problem with a possible lesbian category is this. most porn stars who have done hardcore scenes have done lesbian scenes, and not because they are necessarily lesbians themselves. if a lesbian category tries to include women who are actually lesbians in real life, it would be very hard to verify. if a lesbian category lists women who have done lesbian scenes, there would be a great number of articles that fall into the category. i'm not sure if such a category would be useful, as almost all hardcore porn stars have also done lesbian scenes. --Hexvoodoo 17:17, 21 May 2007 (PDT)

Even if they don't have viruses (and they do!), those URLs have nothing to do with Danuta Lato! I'm not sure how much they pay you, but it's not fair that one day this site will have to suffer after someone drops a complaint on you for ruining their computer.

i'd be interested in knowing on which of the sites you encountered viruses, and what virus warning your anti-virus gave you (i assume that's why you say they have viruses). both The Honorable and i have checked the sites, and we both found no virus at all. siteadvisor.com also did not list any of them as having viruses. so we'd appreciate more detailed information. it's also not a good idea to complain about unverified viruses in the body text of any article.

if you can't tell me what happens when you visit the sites, i can't verify your virus claim. both admins have checked out the sites and have found nothing resembling a virus, and siteadvisor.com also found nothing.
i added the sites because they were mentioned by one of your links ([1]). i took out all the gallery type links because 1. boobpedia is not a gallery listing site (see help page), and 2. i wanted to see what that AOL user would say once the "free porn" stuff was gone (well, he kept complaining, as you saw). if you first contacted me with doubts that the 3 sites contained danuta material, i would have checked into that, as i'm doing now. but your initial report was about viruses, and no viruses have been found.
the cd cover link has a couple more pics, but it's not really a gallery. which section it's in isn't really important anyway. third party galleries are normally not allowed (reasons are in the help page). in this case, since her stuff is so hard to find, i'm leaving the gallery links alone. finally, i know you like the virus jokes, but none of the links in the danuta lato contains viruses, so just drop that issue.--Hexvoodoo 17:03, 17 August 2007 (PDT)

Under Summer Cummings, you have posted that she has been in "B" movies and one of the two is Boogie Nights. The director, Paul Thomas Anderson does't make "B" movies. He followed Boogie Nights with Magnolia and then Punch-Drunk Love. None of these are B films, they where all released world-wide and are critically acclaimed. The system for the photographer pages is a bit complicated; I want to try something. I'd like to keep the photographer pages as they are, because a page named "James Bertoni models", but with content mainly about James Bertoni himself would be weird.

I'll try something with redirections and page inclusion. This would solve two problems at the same time: We would have categories like "James Bertoni models", but photographer pages with the photographer's name which include the models he/she worked with.

If you try to find a pornstar using a partial name or her alias, in some cases you won't find it. For example, in case of Iva Kleinova, if you search using one of this words: Iva, Mandy, May, Melons, you won't find it among search resuls. If you use Mandy May, or Iva Kleinova you will get the result. I have experienced the same "problem" (if I may say so) in other cases. It woould be helpefull to get results using partial words from name or alias.

I understand your problem: It would be nice to have her listed in the "Article title matches" among the first finds and not in the "Page text maches" further down the list. Possible solution: Disambiguation pages that list several models who have this name (and perhaps also this alias). I did this for Seka and Kim (just click). The problem: These disambiguation pages have to be maintained manually. So if you introduce an article on a model with a very common name, feel free to add a disambiguation page, but be sure to check from time to time if there's another model with this name that has been added in the meantime. Therefore I only create disambiguation pages for articles I wrote myself, because I cannot keep track of all the other models with their different aliases. And only for models who have this name as title of their article. You see the disadvantage: If there's another Kim added in the meantime, a search for "Kim" will only show the disambiguation page.

Hm... But look at the models I just changed. They all have only the category "adult model", so they are not listed under "nude models" or "fine art nude models" anyway. So it's more confusing if the have "is a nude model" in their text than "is an adult model". That's what I meant. Follow the masses: I just compared "nude model" links to pages that link to "adult model". Nude model has 120 links, adult model nearly 1,000. I think that the majority of writers had the right idea of what is an adult model and what is a nude model. What shall we do? You have a point there. I just wanted to suggest that you revert the redirections of nude and nude model, but then I had an idea: Wikipedia adds a disambiguation page in this case. What if "nude model" contained a sentence as follows, with clear definitions of both: "Nude model can refer to two types of models: Adult model which means ... and Fine art nude model which means ... No. Not as far as I know. But it's exactly like this on Wikipedia too. The sentence is always shown, because you can have clicked on "adult models" but had "Fine art nude models" in mind. [edit] The "cleaning up" phenomenon

Hi Hexvoodoo,

I have a problem: Biguns is coming over me after nearly every new article I write and does his "cleaning up". I already talked to him about a few topics, the Honorable stated that citations within the biobox are ok, I wrote exact reasons why I reverted his "cleaning ups", but he does not read them and does the same on all pages. Please have a look at Ashley Renee:

  • Her year of birth is not mentioned on her site, so I had to quote IMDb. He deleted the citation.
  • I already wrote him that xyz.com is never the pulisher of a website, but it's a work (The publisher is Ashley Renee or the company behind the site). He dis-corrects it every time he sees it.
  • Recently he started moving the reflist up above other headers. The Wikipedia footnote page itself states that reflists should be "near the end of an article", so I absolutely see no need to move them up - especially as I wrote more then 60 articles that all have exactly the same layout. The Wikipedia footnote page itself has the reflist behind the "See also" (=External links) header.
  • If I post a second picture at the left top of the page, I take care that the TOC is right to the picture (if small enough) or under it (if too big), but that the following headers are below the picture. Biguns changes it back every time he sees it. In Ashley Renee's case there was one single word of the first header's text in the next line (seen with 1024x768) wich was really ugly.
  • Every time he sees areaolas that are more than 2 mm wide, he adds the "large areolas" category. This is ok in many cases, as I often forget to add it. But Ashley Renee has areolas less than two fingers wide. You can call these perfect or nice, but not large. This constant adding of the category will lead (and already has lead) to nearly all models having large areolas. Just have a look at the category. It's overcrowded. For Ashley Renee, I reverted this.

I think very carefully before adding citations, categories and formatting my pages. Please tell me if my above considerations are ok, so I will continue reverting his edits if they destroy what I have written. He does not answer to the comments I write in my reverts, but he cannot say that I did not make my reasons clear.

[edit] New biobox ready for testing.

Hi Hexvoodoo,

my new biobox is now ready and fully documented. It has a lot of new features and several fixes of known problems. See Template:Biobox new and also Template talk:Biobox new. It can easily be applied to existing pages by changing the {{Biobox to {{Biobox new at the beginning of an article. It is fully downward compatible: All old data and functionality is preserved.

You can see the new biobox "in action" on Natalia Mühlhausen, Michaela Schaffrath or Ulorin Vex, for example.

If both admins think the new biobox is useful, the code of the new biobox could just be copied into the old one, so that all Boobpedia pages have the new biobox at once.

A problem could be the protection. If I'd like to fix bugs or improve the code, I could not do it as I'm a "normal" user. But I could keep a copy of my (editable) "Biobox new" and tell you to copy the new code into the old one if I changed something.

Expanding the documentation will be no problem, as template and documentation now are separate pages. You can protect the template and leave the documentation unprotected (this is a common practice for many Wikipedia templates too).

Hi Hexvoodoo,

I tried to implement a Documentation and a Documentation subpage feature. They use {{SUBPAGENAME}}, but unfortunately this Magic word doesn't work as expected.

On a page named Biobox new/sandbox,

  • {{SUBPAGENAME}} should deliver sandbox, but
  • in fact it delivers Biobox new/sandbox, just the same as {{PAGENAME}}.

In addition to this,

  • {{BASEPAGENAME}} should deliver Biobox new, but
  • in fact it delivers Biobox new/sandbox, just the same as {{PAGENAME}}.

Is there a reason why these Magic words don't work on Boobpedia? Does this have something to do with the [MW1.7+] and [MW1.6+] remark on the Wikipedia explanation page? Does Boobpedia have a lower version of MediaWiki?

I think the MediaWiki software should be free, isn't it? It would be great if you could update this software (if this is the reason for the failure of {{SUBPAGENAME}} and {{BASEPAGENAME}}). It would help me a lot.

Hi Hexvoodoo,

please have a look at Category:Birthday. As I saw that {{Birth year}} and {{Death year}} have to be maintained manually - would you mind if I adapted Category:Birth year and Category:Death year to the same design?

Apart from having a consistent layout on these category pages, an advantage would be that the templates would not have to be updated manually to a certain extent:

  • either like on Category:Birthday which shows red links for pages that do not exist yet and invites users to add the categories themselves
  • or like on Category:Bra size where links appear clickable as soon as the category is created.
