The Topless Swimsuit (sometimes also called Topless Bathing Suit)[1] is an open bust swimsuit designed by Rudi Gernreich for Harmon Knitwear.[2]
[edit] Reception
Peggy Moffit, a model from the 1960s who presented the swimsuit oficially in 1964,[3] said "it was a logical evolution of Gernreich's avant-garde ideas in swimwear design as much as a scandalous symbol of the Permissive Society".[4]
