This page is a how-to guide detailing a practice or process on Boobpedia.

If you want to add a director to Boobpedia, you should consider not only to create an article, but to fully integrate him into the Boobpedia system. The procedure is simple: You have to

1. create an article,
2. create a template,
3. create categories.

There are predefined "half-ready" pages that help you. You can use the buttons below to go through all three steps and follow the instructions given on the respective new pages.

[edit] Article

This is the main page for the director. It contains the biobox and everything you want to write about him.

• Use the input box below to create a new article for your director.
• This creates a predefined director article. Follow the instructions and comments given on the new page and return to this page when you are done. You can add text and details later.
• Follow the next two steps.

[edit] Template

This special template is a "data container" for your director. Editors can insert the name of your director in an article by using the {{Director}} template which gets the data directly from the template you are creating now. Your template will also be used as a source for your director's categories. If you need to change the director's data later (e. g. if he/she has a new home page), change this template. Please note that changing any data in the director's article will not affect your template. You have to apply changes in both.

A director can have an actresses and a films category. Even if you did not mark any performer or film page on Boobpedia with a category for your director, another one can have done so, and your new category already contains entries.
