In 2006, Monique still appeared under her former alias Claudia Private, when she visited photographer Christophe Mourthé in Paris and did a photoshoot with him.[2] In an interview with SECRET magazine of August 2006, she states that Claudia is her genuine first name, and that "Private" means that fetish really represents her private side:
- "I am fetish in the private life and do not only put clothes on to make photo sessions."[3]
Later, she changed her name to Monique Vegas, closed her former website (www.claudia-private.com) and moved unaltered parts of the content, including her "about" page,[4] to her new domain www.moniquevegas.com. This is the reason why some of her personal data differs significantly from the information given in her Model-Kartei profile[1] which was created later and is still being updated (as of June 2008, see Measurements).
The design of her new website is made by photographer Norman Richter.

Information about Monique's bust measurements differ. While her "about" page mentions her bra size as 36DD (80DD, English version)[4] and 75D (34D, German version),[5] her Model-Kartei profile lists her as 70D (32D).[1]
The reason is that the text of her (old) "about" page, which already served as an introduction to the 2006 SECRET magazine interview,[3] has not been revised since then.
Taking into account Monique's physical appearance as well as the fact that her Model-Kartei profile is still updated, this article follows the newer Model-Kartei data with a bra size of 32D (70D).
