Marie-Claude Bourbonnais became known to a greater Canadian public through her appearance in the 2008 Dreamteam calendar, a joint publication by RadioX, the beer brand Molson Export and Summum magazine.
After appearing in the December/January 2008 edition of Summum magazine, she was discovered by the Canadian fetish photographer Gil Perron who was quite enthusiastic in his comment on his work with her:
- "Not only is she stunning beyond measure, but she's also a consummate professional. I've rarely seen such commitment and drive, no matter how late the day went, she was always ready, willing and able!
- Expect to see more of Marie-Claude in the next few months, she will definitely have a major impact [on] both the Latex and Glamour market."[3]
Soon Marie-Claude's friend list at Model Mayhem also contained the Canadian fetish photographer Martin Perreault, husband of Bianca Beauchamp, which lead to a first photo session in 2008.[4][5]
In July 2008, Marie-Claude appeared in a print advertising campaign for the New York Fries restaurant chain. The campaign, and specifically Marie-Claude's appearance, are intended to show a "dichotomy between fakeness and the all natural goodness of New York Fries".[6]

From 1987 to 1993, Marie-Claude attended the St. Gerald Elementary School in Pierrefonds, Québec, and then the Felix-Leclerc High School in Pointe Claire, Quebec, from which she graduated in 1998.[7]
After that, she studied fashion design and administration.[2]

Marie-Claude describes herself as sincere, enthusiastic and always interested in new experiences. She likes good food and, above all, chocolate. In her spare time she can be seen rollerblading in skate parks.[2]
