Joanne Kandy Latham (born in Wolverhampton) is a former British adult model.

After studying classical ballet for ten years and taking a scholarship to the Royal Ballet School, Latham started modelling at the age of 16 and was an immediate success. After a shoot with leading glamour photographer Patrick Lichfield, he was so impressed with her that he included her photo on the inside front cover of his book "The Most Beautiful Women", a collection of his photographs.

After topless appearances in the Daily Mirror (from May 1978 onwards) and sixteen appearances on Page 3 of The Sun from April 1978-June 1981, demand for her worldwide was dynamic and Playboy and Penthouse magazine bosses battled over her signature. Finally in 1979 she agreed to appear "nude" in the 10th Anniversary issue of Penthouse magazine, signing a £70,000 contract. She was the September 1979 Pet of the Month and was seen in many magazines throughout the 80's.

Latham featured on the cover of Death Penalty, the debut album by NWOBHM band Witchfinder General. It was released in 1982 on Heavy Metal Records. The album received some criticism for the cover photograph which had been taken in the yard of St Mary the Blessed Virgin Church in Enville, Staffordshire, without the permission of the local Reverend. The album was originally released on LP and picture disc and was later reissued on CD. She also featured on the cover of Friends of Hell, their second album released in 1983.[1]

Joanne appeared in many television commercials both in the U.K. and the U.S. She made a documentary for the 1980s ATV/Central Television series England their England on her life as a model, in the episode entitled "A Model's Dream", and has since been approached to make a follow up. Joanne also featured on a T.V. show with Tony Curtis and Frankie Vali. She studied drama at the old Repertory Theatre in Birmingham and plans once again to return to the stage working with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Joanne quit modelling in 1982 after a disastrous crash diet in late 1981 saw her boobs shrink from an incredible 32E to a mere 32B, but while on holiday in Spain she met Francois Trigano, with whom she had a daughter, Blue. They lived together in Paris for a time, but Joanne returned to Wolverhampton after the relationship ended.

Comedian Frank Skinner named Joanne as his favourite Page 3 girl:

"I was asked in an interview about my favourite Page 3 girl and I said that in my youth it was Joanne Latham...A couple of weeks later, those (some fake Gazza breasts) arrived in my post with a fabulous inscription: 'Sorry I couldn't be there in person, but for old time's sake, suck on these. Yours truly, Joanne Latham'.

Joanne was last heard to be promoting a spirituality clinic and reflexology. Joanne is currently teaching Yoga,[2] writing her autobiography[3] and a thirteen part series for television. She is working on setting up Yoga and Natural Healing Centres throughout the U.K. Joanne is planning to return to the U.S. to promote her book. She is also considering moving to California with her daughter Blue. On her homepage, she has recently posted more recent photos of herself from 2006.
