Galilea Montijo Torres (born June 5, 1973 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is a Mexican TV hostess, actress, model and comedian. She currently hosts Hoy, a morning show on Televisa, and El gran show de los Peques.[1] Montijo recently hosted the talent-reality show Pequeños Gigantes, which was a success in Mexico and the United States by Univision.[1]

Montijo started her career after winning La Chica TV in 1993.[1] She then began starring in several telenovelas (soap operas) and TV shows.[1] From 2001 to 2005, Galilea hosted the show VidaTV. In 2004, she participated in the reality show Big Brother VIP and won. During this time she was the girlfriend of Mexican soccer player star Cuauhtemoc Blanco. In 2005, she also participated in the second season of Bailando por un Sueño(Dancing for a Dream). In 2006, Montijo starred in the Mexican telenovela La Verdad Oculta, opposite Gabriel Soto.[1]

In 2007, a sex video surfaced that featured a woman purported to be Montijo.[2] Montijo repeatedly denied that she was the actress in the movie, assertions that proved correct when the actress in question was revealed as Latin porn star Monique Fuentes[3].
