The EyesWideShut is a discontinued body by Fräulein Ehrhardt, the label of photographer Katja Ehrhardt. Soon after being released, it has found its way into many photosets of well-known photographers. It is made of transparent grey latex and has an attached mask that covers the eyes. Unlike many typical fetish masks, it is not meant to deprive the wearer of certain senses (sight, ability to breathe), but adds an elegant and futuristic touch instead.
In addition to being a reminiscence of Stanley Kubrick's 1999 film Eyes Wide Shut, the design may also be an homage to both famous fashion designer Thierry Mugler and photographer Helmut Newton: Newton shot Brigitta Bungard in a similar nylon suit by Mugler in 1998.
