The Cage Dress is a transparent latex dress by HMSlatex. Sophie, the founder and designer of HMSlatex, created the prototype on July 23, 2008,[1] inspired by a dress from the autumn 2008 ready-to-wear collection by Comme des Garçons.[2] She called it Caged Dress at that time, but later renamed it to the final Cage Dress.[3]
